NOVEMBER CHALLENGE

The November challenge was a hard one! For some doing 1 strict Pull up is a dream goal, for some it was easy 😳  

Rosalie won the challenge with 16 unbroken strict pull ups. It was a battle with Danielle but in the end she managed to pull up 1 more.  GREAT job Rosalie!! 💪🏼

On the mens side 3 athletes got the same score of 23 Pull ups. Congrats with this result Ben, Konstantin and Shalton. So this will be settled in a final battle on the day of Murph (17th of December) before or after the WOD (you guys decide).

Batteraof Athlete of 2016

The end of 2016 is near and what a great year it was for CrossFit Batteraof!
Here is a short recap of what all happened in 2016:

  • 3 coaches went to 2 coaches with an intern.
  • 3 Buddy teams participated in the Beach Throwdown, and had the competition eat sand!
  • We rebuild the pull up rig to an amazing wall mounted 20m BEAST.
  • In all 3 TIGLON competitions the Batteraof girls participated in the final
  • South Side Throwdown, the one and only competition in the South was a big success.
  • The monthly challenges got introduced and work like a charm
  • Many many visits to Carnal and many visits to Dadawan will follow
  • Pr's got crushed
  • Lots of GAINZ, some of you are unrecognizable compared to last year

To celebrate the progress we made in 2016 and to look forward into 2017 we would like to invite you to the NEW YEAR BORREL Saturday the 14th of January 2017 starting at 9:30 in the morning!
We will start with a special 2017 BUDDY WOD from 9:30 to 11:30, sign up via MindBody (make sure you have a buddy!) No open gym or other WOD's that day.
After we will be serving food and drinks until it's time to go home.

Friday the 18th of December 2015 we are organizing a night of goal setting for 2016 in our CrossFit Batteraof box.

Starting at 6pm you are welcome to drop in and talk to us about your personal goals for 2016. There will also be a form/questionnaire send around before the 18th so you can come prepared.

• Our new fysio team will present themselves and give a small demo of how they will be able to help with and prevent injuries.

• Ramon our new nutritionist will give a short presentation about his services and how to improve your food and drinking habits to support your health and sports. He will also be showing how a body composition measurement is done.

• The athlete of 2015 will be announced chosen by members of the box.

• There will be a picture presentation of 2015.

• Time for some action after all that talking! From 8 to 9 pm you can participate in the BARBELLS & BEER WOD for the men and the WHISKEY & WORST WOD for the women. We will be starting of with CrossFit Baseline and complete the WOD with CrossFit Total. 

Bring as many friends and family members as you like, just let us know who is coming.
If you want to contribute to this goal setting event please let us know!
And don't hesitate to bring food and drinks. Coffee, thee, beer and worst will be provided by the box.
