WOD 11/03/2012 CLEAN & DU LADDER

W-UP: For 6 min - 10 Goodmorning with band / 20 m Bear crawl / 5 Push ups / 20 m Bear crawl

STRETCH: Shoulder / Scapula Band stretch on rig

SKILL: Power Clean - For max weight 3 sets of 3 touch and go

WOD: Ladder for 35 min: 2 Power Clean / 25 Dubble Under (or 50 Single Under) / 4 P. Clean / 25 DU (or 50 SU) / 6 P. Clean / 25 DU (or 50 SU) etc... etc... Adding 2 Power Cleans every round, keep the DU/SU amount the same. 

The weight for the Power Clean in the WOD should be 75% of your 1 RMax.

Note: This is a very long workout, you will work on your metabolic conditioning, strength and stamina. You should be able to do the DU/SU unbroken and make at least 3 to 5 repetitions on the P.Clean. You should be able to get at least into round 20.

The Walters Cup Throwdown

The Walters Cup Throwdown is a buddy’s throwdown, so you’ll need a buddy to register!

The 3 qualifiers for the Walters Cup Throwdown must done between February 15th and april 13th in our own box and your judge must approve your score and you must upload your video as proof.

The prize for the qualifiers is €40 for a buddy’s team untill March 8.
Between March 8 and 15th the fee will go up to €50, and after March 15th the fee to register for the qualifiers will be €60 for a buddy’s team.

The finals will be on June 7th in the Chassé Theater in Breda, Netherlands.

In the finals the following buddy-teams will fight for a podium position:
10 Elite male/male
10 Elite female/male
10 Elite female/female
10 Masters male/male
10 Masters female/male
10 Masters female/female
!0 Scaled male/male
10 Scaled female/male
10 Scaled female/female

Total prize money is worth €6000 !

OPENING PARTY!!

 To celebrate the opening of the CrossFit Batteraof box we would like to invite you, your friends and family to our opening party on Saturday the 7th of Feb. starting at 6pm (until we drop).

First: Join the special opening Buddy WOD, from 4 to 5pm and 5 to 6pm. Bring your most crazy gym-rat outfit!

Second: Witness our weightlifting or strongman Demo's at 7 and 8pm

Third: enjoy a (healthy) snack, plenty of drinks and a live DJ.

CrossFit Games Open 2015

For the first time we will organise the Open qualifier at CrossFit Batteraof in Maastricht.

The Open is for EVERYBODY! So also for you!! NO EXCUSES. This year you can also participate with scaled weights.

We will host the Open WOD's on Saturday's for 5 weeks. From 10 am - 11 am and 11 am - 12 am. The regular (beginner) classes will be cancelled during these hours.

These are the dates we are hosting the Open WOD:
15.1 Saturday 28 FEB  10 am - 12am
15.2 Saturday 7 MRT 10 am - 12am
15.3 Saturday 14 MRT 10 am - 12am
15.4 Saturday 21 MRT 10 am - 12am
15.5 Saturday 28 MRT 10 am - 12am

Athletes must have their score validated either by performing the workout at our licensed CrossFit Affiliate under the observation of a Judge, or by uploading a video of their workout to the CrossFit Games website.
